The Brood of The Trickster is a brief story of the offspring of the well-known trickster Loki. Brothers and sisters gather around and listen. Listen to my three tails. My three bitter memories of times long ago. Three nightmares in which eternity swirled. Three are the children that will ruin the world.
For so much did the trickster despise his kind. Into the ironwoods for he knows what he would find. A witch, and a giantess willing to carry his seed. An unholy union was fulfilled, but to what end?
One would rule the ocean where we swim and catch our fish. Waiting for the day to rise from the depths. One will be strapped to a mountain with a final burning wish. One shall be placed upon a frozen throne most of us shall see. For they are prisoners of their time, till Ragnarök set free.
My thoughts: I really enjoy stories about our Gods and other realms, but one that I really enjoy are the stories of Ragnarök. I believe the best place to start our stories is at the beginning of the end that’s why I picked the story you just read. I’ll try to start with stories like these then move to other stories of our faith.
